Kitchen

This rustic contemporary kitchen was so much fun to design and is truly a reflection of the owner’s personality.  The original kitchen was extremely small but had a large eat in area, so by flipping those spaces, I was able to create a much larger and more functional kitchen. By starting with the client’s favorite color of blue, we based the design off that and eventually decided on white concrete counters and red brick backsplash. The hardware is a dark oil rubbed bronze and the appliances are Sub Zero and Wolf. The back of the island, floating shelves and pantry barn door are all custom made out of reclaimed wood. LED lighting under the shelves and sconces near the sink area accent the brick backsplash and provide perfect task lighting for areas without wall cabinets.
